Day 1:

Day 2:

Day 3:

Camel trek along the Atlantic coastline (8 days)

Morocco is celebrated for a number of things like the imposing Atlas Mountains, the rich Arabic and Berber cultures and the exotic souks of Marrakech. A less renowned place is the stunning Atlantic coastline. Our tranquil one-week tour tracks coastal trails to the gorgeous city of Essaouira. Along the way of your Marrakech camel trekking, you go by quiet fishing townships, Argan tree orchards, abandoned sandy beaches and rocky cliff tops. As an invariable attendant, you will have the grand sea sights and the growl of the deafening Atlantic waves. Then the trip is headed by one of our most experienced local guides, aided by the camp and cooking teams. Convoy of camels will carry our baggage. Conclude the journey with soothing free time in both Essaouira and Marrakech.

Details itinerary: 

Day 1: Arrival in Marrakech:

Meet our employees’ team at the air terminal and transport to the hotel (half board accommodation).

Day 2:Marrakech – Tafdna:

Transport by minibus, Land Rover or coach to Tafna, going through Chichaoua and Ounara. Lunch stop en route. Then carry on through the Haha region, the Argan tree center, arriving at the fishing harbor of Tafna. Then you will meet with your camel-drivers. “Test day” for practice of camel rides in Marrakech. Then the evening bivouac on sandy seashore in Tafna.

Day 3:Tafna – Hamad Saeih: 

Once caravan is loaded, start your journey crossing over Cape Tafelny through the plateau. Then stop by the beach of Sidi Hamad Saeih, where you will pitch tents for the night stay.

Day 4:Hamad Saeih – Sidi Mbarek :

The journey through camel rides in Marrakech, goes on to trail the coast, either beside the beach or across the elevated plain (depending on wind conditions). Camp around Marabout Sidi Mbarek.

Day 5:Sidi Mbarek – Sidi Kaouki:

The coast stretches away to the horizon. Three linked beaches will lead you to Sidi Kaouki. A fishing port and meeting place for wind-surfers. Spend the night camping on the seaside.

Day 6: Sidi Kaouki – Essaouira:

Start the day toward Sidi Kaouki, journeying the confined fishing village and the sea fissures of Cape Sim. The town of Essaouira appears in the distance around Cape Sim. Then in the afternoon arrival is most predictable to have a well-deserved rest and use the nighttime in a relaxed hotel.

Day 7: Essaouira

Tour an ancient Portuguese port, the town of Essaouira, followed by lunch at a dockside eatery to collect all sorts of selfish and fish. Afternoon shift to Marrakech and nighttime in a hotel. Marrakech camel trekking also allows you to discover the Medina at sunset and shop in the souks.

Day 8: Marrakech

Move to the airport for your return journey.
